Cineby Help

Start with the problem below. Each answer gives you a clear next step.

The player does not start

Open the title and press Play once. If your browser blocks autoplay, use the play button inside the player. Try another available server. If every server fails for the same title, note the title URL, server name, device and time, then contact us. An entry in the catalogue does not guarantee that a working video source exists.

Playback keeps buffering or the quality is poor

Pause briefly and check whether other sites load normally. If the player offers a quality setting, choose a lower resolution. Try another available server and compare the result. Report a problem that repeats with the title URL and server name; image quality depends on the source rather than the poster or catalogue listing.

A server is unavailable or shows an error

Switch to another server below the player. A 503 error generally indicates that an upstream service is unavailable; repeatedly refreshing is unlikely to repair it. Never enter a Cineby password into an unexpected third-party authentication prompt. Close that prompt and send us the title URL, server and exact error text.

I cannot find a season or the next episode

Open the parent series, choose Episodes, then select the season and episode. Check Now Playing and the previous/next controls above the player to confirm the episode order. The New Episodes hub shows catalogue additions, which may differ from original air dates. If a season is missing or an episode is mislabelled, send its series name, season and episode number.

Subtitles or the audio language are missing

Look for CC, subtitles, audio or settings inside the selected player. The available options depend on the server and the source. Try another server if the language you want is absent or the subtitles are out of sync. Include the language and server name in your report; not every source offers every language.

Google sign-in or account access does not work

Use the sign-in button on Cineby.hot and allow the Google sign-in window to finish. Check that the account selected with Google is the one you intended to use. Permit essential site cookies for the sign-in flow and avoid starting several sign-in attempts at once. If access still fails, tell us the error and browser version. We do not need your password, Google verification code or session cookies. Accounts from the closed original Cineby service are not imported here.

My favourites, folders or ratings look different

Confirm that you are signed in to the same account before checking favourites, folders and your own rating. Public heart and rating totals show activity across users; a total is not proof that you made that action. Reload once after signing in and check your account page. Report the affected title and action if a personal mark still does not match.

The bell shows no updates or an error

Sign in, open the bell and check the notification options offered there. An empty list can simply mean there are no new updates. Reload once if the panel shows an error. If it persists, note the error text, time and whether you were signed in; never send account tokens. Updates depend on the information available for the titles you follow.

Browse, search or controls do not respond on my phone

Use an up-to-date browser and reload the page once. Close an open player or overlay before opening Browse or search again. Check the same page in another browser to distinguish a site issue from an extension or browser setting. If it still fails, send your device, browser version, page URL and a screenshot without private account details.
